AleeF ("we", "our", or "us") operates the AleeF mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. By using AleeF, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: Name, phone number, email address, and profile photo.
• Pet listings: Pet name, breed, species, photos, age, location, and description.
• Location: City or governorate you select — we do not collect precise GPS location.
• Messages: Chat messages sent between users within the app.
• Device token: For sending push notifications to your device.
• Usage data: Likes, passes, and saves to personalise your feed.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To show you relevant pet listings nearby.
• To enable communication between pet owners and interested users.
• To send push notifications about matches, messages, and activity.
• To verify breeder credentials when you apply for a verified badge.
• To improve the app experience and fix issues.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following cases:

• Other users: Your profile name and pet listings are visible to other AleeF users.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication, and Apple APNs for push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, which removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take every reasonable precaution.

7. Children's Privacy

AleeF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
